WHAT IS POLE FITNESS?
Pole fitness is a form of aerobic exercise, flexibility and strength training performed in a series of poses and movements on a vertical apparatus.
WHO CAN TAKEÂ POLE FITNESS CLASSES?
It's not just for exotic dancers/strippers. No matter your size, shape, age or physical challenges, pole fitness is for every woman.
IS POLE FITNESS SAFE?
The answer is YES. Pole Bias has guided, self paced, pole fitness classes. Also, we have incorporated preventative measures, such as warm-up, cool-down, pole mats, silks and instruction on proper body alignment to lower the probability of injury.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?
Clothing that does not restrict movement is best for every class; tights/leggings, shorts, t-shirt, sports bra or any comfortable top. Barefoot is ideal, but wear whatever foot coverings or shoes that are comfortable. Storage cubes will be available for stowing personal items.
*DO NOT PUT LOTIONS, CREAMS, BUTTERS, BALMS, OILS, ETC, ON YOUR SKIN BEFORE CLASS. THESE ITEMS CREATE SLIP THAT CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY.
**PRIOR TO CLASS REMOVE ALL JEWELRY/METAL ITEMS TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE POLES.
WHAT IS YOUR COVID PROTOCOL?
*IF YOU'RE EXPERIENCING COLD/FLU SYMPTOMS, PLEASE DON'T ENTER THE STUDIO*
You are welcome to wear a mask, but there is no requirement. As of September 25, 2020; Governor DeSantis signed Executive Order #20-244, which removed all covid-19 restrictions. The studio, equipment, bathroom and all touchable surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected before each class.
